He currently serves New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as a New York Energy $martsm Commercial Lighting Program Account Manager assisting program Business Partners with identifying, designing, and implementing effective, energy-efficient lighting projects. Other recent ICF assignments include research contributing to the development of new ENERGY STAR® lighting Specifications and new linear fluorescent lamp standards for New York State, as well as market studies of general service fluorescent lamps and metal halide lamp ballast MEPS for Natural Resources Canada. Mr. Rogers currently serves as a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Daylighting and Sustainable Lighting Committees as well as co-Chair of the Education Committee of the New York City Section of IES (2008-2011). He is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) and a United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Accredited Professional.
Meg Smith,LC, IESNA, LEED AP; Regional Specification Sales Manager - Lightolier/Philips Meg has worked for many years in New York with the best of the lighting design community as well as the opportunity to participate in the emerging sustainable and intelligent lighting design marketplace, traveling extensively within the United States, Canada and Mexico. She serves as a member of the IES Sustainable Lighting Committee, Board of Managers for IESNY, IESNY Program and Education Committee Chair (2005-2008) and co-Chair of Education (2008-2011). Michael Stiller, LEED AP, IESNA, Practicing Affiliate IALD; Michael Stiller Design Michael is a lighting practitioner and teacher with more than 20 years experience in lighting design. His architectural designs are represented in the museum, corporate, retail, residential and performing arts markets. Mr. Stiller has led lighting workshops abroad, been a guest lecturer at the Pratt Institute, and is currently a faculty member at FIT in both the interior design department and the master's degree program in exhibit design. He chairs the Communications Committee and is a member of the Steering Committee of the USGBC New York Upstate Chapter, Hudson Valley Branch, where he also conducts seminars and presentations for green building professionals and groups. Michael is also a guest lecturer for SUNY Ulster’s Sustainable Building Advisors Program.

Understand the fundamental approaches to point and lumen method calculations, and the components that make up the Lumen Method Equation:
• How to determine the coefficient of utilization of a luminaire;
