| Greeting from the IESNY President |
Dear Members and Friends of IESNY:
I am very proud to announce…. The IESNY has become a partner organization housed at the Center for Architecture! Effective immediately our new address is:
IESNY
536 LaGuardia Place
New York, New York 10012
(Our new phone number is 212 473 3139)
At the Center for Architecture we join other organizations, such as the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter, the American Society of Landscape Architects New York Chapter, the Center for Architecture Foundation, and the Structural Engineers Association of New York. New York City’s premier hub for those interested in the built environment has just gotten bigger and stronger. It is a place to gather, share, learn, honor, and advocate.

| A Message from the IESNY Vice President |
|
Dear Members and Friends of IESNY:
I would like to take this moment to thank all of my fellow IES NY members for electing me Vice President of the IES NY and say what an honour it is to be Vice President.
Starting with the IESNY in 1999 and than becoming the AIA Liaison and working closely with the AIA NY section to bring courses and workshops to members of the IES NY family and to the AIA community was a very fulfilling experience. It led me to become very active in the Programs & Education Committee. The P&E Committee has led to numerous memorable experiences and has given me the privilege to work with many wonderful people.
Being a member of the Board of Managers for the IES NY is an enjoyable experience and seems such a natural fit for myself. There is only one thing lacking…..Lighting Designer involvement. I have taken on the task of introducing the fulfilling experience of being an active IES NY member and am working to bring more lighting designers to the various committees available.
I have already begun to reach out to various Lighting Designers and also many of the larger lighting firms to implore them and their employees to take part in shaping the future of the lighting society. I look forward to meeting with many of you to introduce you to an experience that I know you will find as fulfilling and enjoyable as I do!
Thank You
